General Information #
This critical step must be completed before crews can complete an ePCR. These fields are required by each state to document which vehicle as well as which unit is documenting patient care.
Set-Up #
Vehicles and Call Signs are added within the Form Configuration System. If you are already logged into Unified-Solutions in another tab you can click on the button below and it will take you directly to the page:
Navigating To #
Navigate to App Configs > ePCR > PCR Form Config
Add A Vehicle #
To add a vehicle we are going to make sure we are on the Incident Tab and Move down to the section labeled “Dispatch” as seen circled here:
Vehicle Number is located at the top right of the box and you will see three buttons at the top right of the box. To add a vehicle we are going to click on the second button indicated by three lines which looks like this:
Drop Down Editor – Using the drop down editor we can Add/Edit and Remove vehicles from the drop down list. To add a vehicle click on “+ New Option”.
- Export Value – This value is reported on the back end of the system and is what is sent to the state on export. Certain states have specific export values for each vehicle, see the list of states below for their specific rules regarding export values. If you state does not have specific rules just use the same text as the text field.
- Text – This is displayed in the drop down list for user selection. For Example “Ambulance 1”.
- Group – If you have different types of vehicles such as Fly Cars and Ambulances, you can place them into groups.
Save – Once you are complete click “Save” and you will see your ambulance in the drop down manager:
Click “Submit” to return to the Form Configuration.
Note – In order for your changes to be pushed to the system and to see the new items in the drop down list. You must save the form configuration and reload the page. Follow these steps to complete that.
Save the updates by clicking on the menu item in the upper right corner, this will be your username/email and username icon as seen circled here:
Next click on “Save” as seen below:
If you have more changes to make you can make them now, if you are finished in the Form Configuration click on the “Back” Button on the side menu see here:
Add a Unit Call Sign: #
For Unit Call sign follow the same steps as above however you will select the drop down list for Unit Call Sign which is located just left of the Vehicle Number field in the form configuration.
